It means Burnley Council is determined to create a clean Burnley - but we need your help, the council can't do it alone.
It's not just about cleaning up our streets, town centres and grassed areas - that's just part of the Clean Burnley campaign. Experience tells us that both the standard cleansing work we do and organised clean up campaigns see spotless areas quickly fall back to how they were before.
Can you imagine how much it costs to keep going back to the same place time and time again, clearing away litter and rubbish that simply reappears days or even just hours later?
So Clean Burnley is as much about catching and punishing the people who just don't care about our borough. The council takes a zero tolerance approach to people who drop litter, dump fly tipping or don't clean up after their dog.
It's also about education - particularly among children, and we will be going out to all the borough's schools to encourage them to help us make our borough an even better place to live.
In the end that's what Clean Burnley campaign is all about - creating a cleaner, greener and safer borough.
