Effective communications have never been more important to local councils. Openness, transparency and consultation are considered key elements of today's democracy.
The Communications Team aims to keep the people of Burnley informed about the decisions of the council, the services it has to offer, how it spends its money and the massive regeneration of the whole borough that is happening, now and in the future.
An important task of the communications team is to improve the image of the area and give a boost to civic pride. We want to tell the world about what a great place Burnley really is and what the borough has to offer everyone.
