More and more good things are happening in Burnley, Padiham and round about these days !  From sporting occasions, art exhibitions, music concerts and great family days out, it's well worth checking out what's on in the borough.

Sunday 28th May: Thompson Park Family Fun Day -  try out the boating lake, paddling pool and miniature railway, and enjoy live music from the Accrington Pipe Band and local buskers. 

Sunday 4th June: the big Asda Foundation Burnley 10k - still plenty of time to register for this great race challenge, taking in Towneley Park, a sprint past Turf Moor and a loop of Thompson and Queens Parks.

5th to the 10th June - Burnley Fashion Week - the place to be for fashionistas !

Sunday 4th June: Brass in the Park in Padiham Memorial Park - a free afternoon concert from 2pm with Pendle Jazzmen.

Sunday 11th June: Brass in the Park in Towneley Park - a free afternoon concert from 2 pm, with the Stacksteads Band performing.

Saturday 17th June: the Todmorden Agricultural Show - this long established major event  with lots of interest for young and old .... now taking place in Cliviger, Burnley !

Saturday 17th June: the Great Get Together - the Burnley event will run from 11 am to 2 pm outside the central library.

Saturday 24th June and Sunday 25th June: Padiham on Parade - 1940s style weekend - and Facebook information here

Sunday 25th June: Classic Car Show - more than 300 classic vehicles will be on display at this well-established annual event, organised by the Rotary Club of Burnley.
