Burnley Civic Society
The Burnley Civic Society aims to:
- encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in Burnley
- stimulate public interest in the history and character of Burnley
- encourage preservation, development and improvement of features of historic interest
- encourage the development of our local rural environment
The Society achieves these aims through meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications, publicity and promotion of schemes of a charitable nature.
