Councillor Anne Kelly, the Mayor of Burnley 2019/20
Councillor Anne Kelly has been installed as the Mayor of Burnley for the coming year.
Her husband John will act as consort.

She was born in Heywood, near Bury, but has lived in Briercliffe since she was a small child.
The Mayor attended school in the village, followed by secondary school and college in Colne. She subsequently qualified as a teacher and taught at St. James Primary School, then Briercliffe Primary School for more than 25 years.
Coun. Kelly was a parish councillor in Briercliffe for over 30 years, and was first elected as a borough Councillor representing Briercliffe in May 2007. representing Gannow, since 2007. She is a Clarets fan and a season ticket holder at Burnley FC.
She has been married to John for 44 years, and has three grandchildren and six grandchildren.
The Mayor's charity for the year is ELHT & Me - to raise money for diagnostic scanners at Burnley General Hospital.
This year's deputy Mayor is Councillor Wajid Khan.
