More and more good things are happening in Burnley, Padiham and round about these days !  From sporting occasions, art exhibitions, music concerts and great family days out, it's well worth checking out what's on in the borough.

2018 - some upcoming events

There are some great events coming up in Burnley in 2018.

Runners will be interested in the first ever Burnley half marathon, which is all set to take place on Sunday 25 March - click here for more details

The biggest running event of the year will be the Burnley 10k (Run for All / Asda Foundation). This takes place on Sunday 15 July with a route that begins and finishes in Towneley Park. Click here for more information and to book your place.

Did you know that the famous Todmorden Agricultural Show now takes place in the borough of Burnley? For the second year, the event will take place at the Cliviger Show Field all day on Saturday 16 June. The first 'Todmorden Show in Burnley' was a great success, so be sure to make this a date for your diary - click here for more details.

The Burnley Classic Car Show has been a major tourist attraction in the town for 34 years now! This year's event takes place from midday on Sunday 24 June - click here for more information.

Padiham is the venue for a 1940s style weekend across Saturday 30 June and 1 July. More details will be posted here as the event approaches, but for now, take a look at the kind of things that go on by clicking here.
