Dates have been set for councillors in Burnley to discuss the next stage of the proposed Local Plan for the borough.
The proposed submission document takes account of points put forward by residents and a range of organisations during the consultation on the Preferred Options in July and August.
It will be discussed at an executive meeting on Monday 16th January and by the full council on Thursday 19th January.
This is instead of the dates that were provisionally planned for the meetings this month. The change results from additional work needed by officers to complete the submission document. It also means the meetings do not fall within the busy run-up to Christmas.
If it is agreed that the document will go forward for submission to the independent inspector for examination, it will then be published and subject to a six week formal consultation beginning on 27th January 2017.
