Burnley Council is continuing its campaign to keep our borough's streets as clean as possible.
People who you drop litter, including chewing gum, or fail to clean up after their dog risk being issued with a £75 fine.
Enforcement officers are patrolling across the borough to help keep our streets and neighbourhoods clean and tidy.
The patrols have been introduced in response to residents’ calls for more action to tackle those that spoil our communities for everyone. Time and again surveys have highlighted littering and dog fouling as the top priorities as far as residents are concerned.
