Cosy Homes in Lancashire (ChiL)
We are working with local authorities in Lancashire to help households access funding for energy-related improvements to their homes.
If your property including park homes is suitable you may be able to have a number of energy efficiency improvements installed in your home for free including loft insulation and cavity wall insulation.

Heating Rebate Scheme
The heating rebate scheme is a grant offered by the Council to replace an inefficient or broken central heating system or for installing a heating system for the first time.
Owner occupiers living in the borough of Burnley.
Amount of grant
£300 if the property already has gas central heating. If the property has never had a central heating system or currently there is a grant of £1,000.00 towards the cost of central heating.
The heating rebate scheme is available from the Council's Housing & Development Control Unit.
The Local Authority Green Homes Grant Scheme
The Government’s ‘Green Homes Grant’ is now available toBurnley residents.
The grant is worth up to £10,000 per property and eligible measures are free for owner-occupiers. Landlords can apply but a contribution will be expected in every case.
This means that you could get your home winter-ready and the ‘Cosy Homes in Lancashire’ initiative will pick up the bill to help you get warmer, and stay warmer in future for less money.
