The Council's Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the timetable for preparing Burnley's local planning framework, including Burnley's Local Plan and a separate Gypsy and Traveller Sites Allocations DPD. It also sets out a list of current and proposed Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs).
The LDS also lists the 'old style' Local Plan Policies and Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPGs) that had been 'saved'.
The Council's first LDS was brought into effect on 17 March 2005 and the latest version was approved by the Council's Executive on 17 January 2018.
You can download the current LDS from the' Downloads' section on the right of this page.
