Pay a Fixed Penalty Notice

Ways to Pay a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN). 

If you have received a Fixed Penalty Notice through the post these are the ways you can pay. 

1. To pay online, Click here

2. Call our contact centre 01282 425011 select option 2 for Streetscene Services.

3. In person at the Contact Centre (Parker Lane, Burnley). 

4. By Cheque, to Streetscene, 9 Parker Lane, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 2BY, please make sure you include the reference number and the name of the authorising officer.

Please note we no longer accept any cash payment.

If you decide not to pay the Fixed Penalty, the Council will commence legal proceedings to prosecute you for this matter. If you are found guilty of such an offence, the current maximum fine in the Magistrates' Court is £1,000.

The fixed penalty notice is your opportunity for discharging any liability to conviction, I would advise you to pay it, within the 14 days allowed however if you wish to challenge the issuing of this Notice then please contact the Streetscene Solicitor at Burnley Borough Council Streetscene, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 9SA.

Please note - If you have been issued a Fixed Penalty Notice in person by one of our enforcement officers (this will look like a long receipt), then you will need to pay via a different system – please click here to be directed to the correct site.
